Meet Miss Phoebe

Miss Phoebe is a singer, actor, and artist born and raised in Biloela QLD. She had her first singing and drama lesson at the age of seven, but has been performing and painting ever since she could talk.

She has competed at many eisteddfods and competitions, achieving the ‘Most Successful Vocal Performer’ award in 2014. She has also been involved in many performances including the Callide Valley Show, end of year concerts and recitals, musicals portraying characters such as Cinderella and Sharpay Evans (High School Musical), and as a lead vocalist of the Biloela State High School Rock Band.

She is currently qualified with Trinity College London, holding a Level 3 Certificate (Grade 6) in Musical Theatre with Distinction. She is also a certified vocal coach with 1108 Studio. Miss Phoebe is also currently studying a Certificate III in Visual Arts to further extend her knowledge and passion for art. She is constantly working towards completing more training as she believes it is important to always extend her knowledge and learn new things.

She enjoys teaching and singing in all contemporary styles such as musical theatre, pop and rock, jazz, country, and more. I also am passionate about both classical and modern theatre pieces as well as acting for screen (TV and film). Miss Phoebe’s preferred art medium is painting and drawing, however she enjoys playing around with all the different ways to create art. She aims to pass on her knowledge and passion, and love for the performing and visual arts down to her students.

My mission is to create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging space for students to explore the performing and visual arts. Vocal health, inclusive teaching and learning, acceptance, and safe practice are just some of the areas she focuses on in lessons. People of any background including LGBTQIA+ people, those who are neurodivergent, and other minorities are always welcome at Showcase Artistry.
